Miroslav Lewandowski, Polish collector, patron of culture for more than 30 years living in Prague, Czech Republic. He began his adventure with art by creating a collection of works by Vlastimil Hofman, a Polish symbolist painter born in Prague. Miroslav Lewandowski patronizes events that aim to bring Poland and the Czech Republic closer together culturally. He has had great success in this area. He is the founder and organizer of an exhibition of Polish painting, ASP professors in Warsaw at the Parliament of the Czech Republic in Prague in 2010. In 2011,the Prague Love Prague event was part of the Warsaw Koneser. On the programme of this event were exhibitions of important czech grotesque makers, examples of cult works of Czech cinema, photographs, happenings of the creators in Prague as well as a concert of the cult Czech underground group Plastic People of the Universe, which recorded one of its concerts at the home of Václav Havel. Miroslav Lewandowski is an expert in the field of art in both the Czech Republic and Poland. He has prepared shows by many well-known Czech artists in Poland. He presented the creation of world fame photography by Jan Saudek and others important for Czech artists' culture in Poland. It also promotes Polish culture and Polish creators in the Czech Republic.
